The Aboriginal Education area of our web site is intended to provide an outline of Aboriginal Education in School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes). School District No. 91 and the First Nations Education Council, S.D. No. 91 believe that it is essential that everyone involved in the education of our students be aware of all aspects of Aboriginal Education in School District No. 91. It is imperative that we all work together to constantly improve education for Aboriginal students and to help all our students become sensitive and understanding citizens. The information presented here is published to ensure that, although Aboriginal Education in School District No. 91 is school/community based, a standardized level of information is available throughout the district.
