Quality and Design
|
Text should be grammatically correct, accurately spelled, and have pleasing appearance. Documents may not contain objectionable material or point (link) to objectionable material. The home page should have a title and top level heading that are the same and reference the theme of the home page. Information such as the e-mail address of the responsible contact person, and the last date updated should be included. Information on a page should remain current and be accurate. Since "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" it is difficult to say what makes an attractive web site. But school the web page should contain typical, good web design elements including titles and top level headings that reference the theme, sparing use of text with graphics, highlighting, logical organization, use of thumbnail images where possible, meaningful text with graphics, user friendly navigation and text only navigation. The school web page should be neat and attractive showing good planning and design. |
