This page has been constructed to be viewed as a technologically enhanced learning environment for students. It is to be used by groups of students so that the work is completed collectively and collaboratively.
Ask your teacher for help, and discuss different arrangements within the project. Keep in mind that a learner's environment is changeable and flexible.

Before you begin, you will need to discuss all aspects of this project with your teacher and with your group members.

Discuss your choices with your teacher and develop a plan.

 

The assignment is to:

  • collect information by visiting web sites
  • collect images and reference URLs
 

Elements of your project:

1.You must work in a group as there is a great deal of information to find. Partners will also make the process of analyzing easier to do.

   

2. What you need to consider are:

  • how you will divide your topics between you and your partners
  • what you will use to accumulate the data on
    • a suggestion would be to open a Word document to hold your URLs that you want to reference to, images that you want to include and the information that you collect.
  • how you will present your findings
 
  • collect images and reference URLs
  • analyze what you have found and decide what will be relevant to your project
 
  • compare the data collected from different sites and decide what you will use and what you can throw away
  • develop conclusions from the data to answer
  • you can choose to create a presentation in a hyperstudio stack, an html document or as a Word document

3. Your project must include:

  • a title page
  • answers to all three areas :
    • geography
    • culture
    • religion
 

the questions in the areas provided

  • work together with your group to create a project that demonstrates an
 
  • images
  • URLs as references
  • a Bibleography at the end
  • and an About the Authors page

understanding of elements of the Ancient Egyptians environment and culture.
