Message regarding NVSS rumours

On Sunday evening, we became aware of rumours circulating in the Vanderhoof community regarding Nechako Valley Secondary School and a possible threat. All possible threats are taken seriously. The RCMP was informed immediately and we worked alongside officers to assess the level of risk. The RCMP investigation has determined that there is no threat to staff or students at the school. We are grateful for our partnership with the RCMP and for their immediate support.
